Hangout With Basketball Hall of Famer and Olympian Nancy Lieberman!

So I hosted my 1st ever Google Hangout.  As a veteran of webcasting, I want to thank the folks at Sportsblog for asking me to host a special Hangout with Basketball Icon Nancy Lieberman.

Nancy Lieberman has made a brilliant name for herself in almost all aspects of the basketball world, both on and off the court. Her accolades include WNBA player, coach, general manager, sports broadcaster, motivational speaker and author. Nancy also broke through barriers as the first female coach of a men's team under the NBA umbrella.

Lieberman was inspiring, as well as friendly & conversational. Among the panelists that joined us were Matt Misichko-National Basketball Retired Players Association (@NBAAlumni), Tanisha Wright, WNBA star and new member of the New York Liberty/ also on the Hangout representing the WNBA Players Association, where she serves on the Executive Committee (@TheWNBPA), Brian Davis, Oklahoma City Thunder play-by-play announcer, Sam Amick – USA Today (@SamAmick), Travis Blakeley, Asst. GM for Texas Legends of the D-League (@texaslegends and @coachtblake), & Mel Greenberg of Womhoops Guru. (@womhoopsguru).

It was great to reunite with Davis, whom I worked in Seattle with, and Amick, who I did an NBA show for USA Today on Spreecast.  Oh the fun we all had.

The star was Nancy Lieberman.

We are excited to announce the next hangout in our Hanging Out With the Pros series on Google+This week, Basketball Hall of Famer & Olympian Nancy Lieberman will take center stage. Hosted by sports broadcaster Seth Everett, the hangout will let fans ask Nancy questions and hear in her own words what it's like to be one of basketball's biggest stars.
